As required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), we will provide you with an annual privacy notice describing our information sharing practices. You have the right to opt out of certain information sharing as described in that notice.

4. Consent for SMS, Email, and Phone Communications

By providing your contact information and affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive communications from Credence Financial Services LLC, including:

5. Opt-Out and Your Choices

You may opt out of communications at any time:

  • SMS: Reply "STOP" to any text message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single immediate confirmation message confirming unsubscribe — no links, no offers, no additional content. No further SMS of any type will be sent without a new affirmative written opt-in. Reply "HELP" for assistance.
  • Email: Click the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email.
  • Phone: Inform us during a call or contact us directly using the information below.

Even after opting out of marketing messages, you may continue to receive transactional or service-related communications as permitted by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and for the periods required by applicable federal and state law. Specific retention periods include:

  • Mortgage loan applications and related records: A minimum of 25 months following the date of action taken (ECOA), and up to 3 years as required by RESPA and HMDA where applicable
  • Bank Secrecy Act / AML records: A minimum of 5 years
  • General business and compliance records: Up to 7 years or as otherwise required by law
  • Marketing consent and opt-in records: For the duration of the consent and for a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance

When information is no longer required for legal or business purposes, we dispose of it securely.

7. Security of Your Information

We maintain a written information security program that complies with the FTC Safeguards Rule and applicable federal regulations, including physical, administrative, and technical safeguards appropriate to the size and complexity of our operations and the sensitivity of the information we handle.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information, including Social Security numbers and financial data, to employees and service providers who require it to perform their job functions. All such parties are subject to confidentiality obligations.
